How are credits calculated?
Credits are usage-based and depend on the complexity of your request. Simple questions like 'when was the last deployment?' cost 0.5 credits, medium-sized questions like 'identify new errors in this week vs last week' cost 2 credits, and complex and open-ended investigations like 'investigate deeply why there is a high latency in /api/billing 10 minutes ago' could cost 4 to 8 credits.
Can I see how many credits each request costs?
Yes, credit usage information is located at the bottom of each message, digest, or alert investigation report.
Can I see how my credits are being used?
You can view your credit usage history in the usage and billing settings of your account.
What counts as an alert?
An alert is any notification sent to TierZero from your monitoring systems like PagerDuty, Datadog, or New Relic. We count unique alerts, not repeated notifications for the same issue.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
