How are credits calculated?
Credit cost scales with the complexity of the request. Simple questions like 'when was the last deployment?' cost 0.5 credits, mid-size investigations like 'new errors this week vs last' cost 2, and deep root-cause work like 'why is /api/billing slow?' can run 4 to 8.
Each plan includes a per-user monthly allowance: 75 on Starter, 80 on Pro, 120 on Enterprise (pooled across the account on Enterprise).
Can I see how many credits each request costs?
Yes, credit usage information is located at the bottom of each message, digest, or alert investigation report.
Can I see how my credits are being used?
You can view your credit usage history in the usage and billing settings of your account.
Are credits shared across the organization?
Credit pooling is an Enterprise-only feature. On Enterprise, every user's monthly allowance is combined into a single account-wide pool, so heavy users can draw against lighter ones. On Starter and Pro, each user has their own per-seat allowance that doesn't transfer between users.
What counts as an alert?
An alert is any notification sent to TierZero from your monitoring systems like PagerDuty, Datadog, or New Relic. We count unique alerts, not repeated notifications for the same issue.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Do you bill monthly or annually?
Both. Pick monthly or annual at checkout. Annual saves 15% on every paid plan. Contact sales for volume discounts and custom enterprise terms.
